Prince George RCMP is currently investigating a series of break-and-enters that have resulted in tens of thousands of dollars in loss for multiple residences and companies throughout the Prince George area.
The first event occurred on Friday, April 25, 2025, at a residence on the 11000-block of Pinko Road. Those at the residence reported the break-in occurred early that morning, and that multiple firearms, ammunition and a silver Kawasaki UTV were stolen.
The remaining three incidents happened on Monday, April 28, 2025, the first occurring shortly before 2:00 a.m. at a commercial yard on the 9800-block of Milwaukee Way. Several took kits and a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab with a white fibreglass cap in the box were stolen from this location.
A sea-can at a jobsite on the 1100-block of Foothills Boulevard was also broken into; representatives from the company estimated that nearly $80,000 worth of laser mapping equipment, tools and rebar cutting equipment had been taken.
The last break-and-enter from that date occurred shortly after 6:00 a.m. at a property on the 7800-block of Cummings Road. Security personnel for the company reported they witnessed someone on a UTV using a torch to cut through the fence at the location and then steel a reel of copper. A short time later, the UTV was located abandoned on a property several blocks away, with the roll of copper still attached. The UTV was identified as the same one taken in the break-and-enter from April 25 and was seized as part of the ongoing investigations.
Investigators are looking for anyone with information on who might have committed these break-and-enters and where any of the items are now,
