Robbery suspect facing multiple charges

On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, the Fort St John RCMP requested the assistance of the public in identifying a male suspect believed to have committed two robberies on June 3, 2023.

During the investigation, the Fort St John RCMP received Information which led to the arrest of Zury Reschke on June 8, 2023. Reschke was held for court.

BC Crown Prosecution Services has approved charges of: Robbery with a Firearm (2 counts), Disguise with Intent (2 counts), Careless Use of a Firearm (2 counts) and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

"Working together with the public created additional leads which led to this quick arrest", said Constable Chad Neustaeter, Media Relations Officer for the Fort St John RCMP.  "Thank you to the media and the public for their assistance in this matter." 

On June 9, 2023, Reschke was remanded in custody until June 15, 2023.
