Fatal motorcycle crash on Comox Logging Road

A serious motorcycle crash on Comox Logging Road has claimed the life of a 29-year old man.

On July 11, 2023, at approximately 9:15 p.m. Comox Valley RCMP received a report of a motorcycle crash on the Comox Logging Road near the Island Highway overpass. Despite the efforts of first responders the man was unfortunately pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is continuing; however, it appears that speed may have been a factor in this collision.

BC Coroner’s Service and an investigator from the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services (ICARS) attended the scene.

Anyone with information related to the collision is asked to contact the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321.
